1 After
these things the word of the Lord
came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield,
and thy exceeding great reward.MY Notes: The
great reward is far off in Christ Jesus. Abraham's faith in God keeps him in
communion with God. Keep in mind this was before the Law of Moses and
Circumcision.
Abram
complains for lack of an heir
2 And
Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the
steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? 3 And
Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house
is mine heir. 4 And,
behold, the word of the Lord
came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall
come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. 5 And
he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the
stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed
be. 6 And
he believed in the Lord; and he
counted it to him for righteousness.
Gen
15:1-6 (KJV)
MY Notes: Abraham was blessed by God with all earthly blessings, wealth, land
and even a heir. His spiritual blessing is far off in Christ. His faith in God
and trusting Him was the single key for God to consider Abrahams rightousness.
Nothing else mattered, not the Law or Circumcision.
1 And
when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto
him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2 And
I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
3 And
Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As
for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of
many nations. 5 Neither
shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a
father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And
I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings
shall come out of thee. 7 And
I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in
their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy
seed after thee. 8 And
I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a
stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be
their God. 9 And
God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed
after thee in their generations. 10 This
is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed
after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. 11 And
ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the
covenant betwixt me and you. 12 And
he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in
your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any
stranger, which is not of thy seed. 13 He
that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be
circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
14 And
the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that
soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
Gen
17:1-14 (KJV)
MY Notes: Not only did Abraham recieve notice from God that he will be
blessed. He was blessed double for his continued faith. God made the covenant of
Circumcision in Abrahams flesh. Abraham's name changed to signify the new nature
by faith. Notice God said for new born Child to be Circumcised after 8 days.
The 8th day is significant in scripture signifying the new beginning without
Satans influence. The new Jeruselem above the earth as Christ reigns over. In
Noahs boat there were only 8 people and God closed the door. It was exactly 8
days when Christ returned to all 11 apostles. 8 days From when Thomas learned
that Christ rose again and doubted what he was told.
Who asked for the Law of God?
26 Our
cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for
thereof must we take to serve the
Lord our God; and we know not with what
we must serve the
Lord, until we
come thither.

4 Ye
have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles'
wings, and brought you unto myself. 5 Now
therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall
be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is
mine: 6 And
ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are
the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. 7 And
Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces
all these words which the Lord
commanded him. 8 And
all the people answered together, and said, All that the Lord hath spoken we will do. And Moses
returned the words of the people unto the Lord. 9 And
the Lord said unto Moses, Lo, I
come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with
thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the
Lord. 10 And
the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto
the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their
clothes,

MY Notes: Israel agrees to uphold the commandments of God and to do them. The
Commandments Given.
1 And
God spake all these words, saying, 2 I
am the Lord thy God, which
have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou
shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou
shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing
that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that
is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou
shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth
generation of them that hate me; 6 And
shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou
shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that
taketh his name in vain. 8 Remember
the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six
days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But
the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt
not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For
in six days the Lord made
heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the
seventh day: wherefore the Lord
blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. 12 Honour
thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the
Lord thy God giveth thee. 13 Thou
shalt not kill. 14 Thou
shalt not commit adultery. 15 Thou
shalt not steal. 16 Thou
shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 17 Thou
shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's
wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any
thing that is thy neighbour's.

What is found in mankind.
What
then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved
both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 10 As
it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There
is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They
are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is
none that doeth good, no, not one. 13 Their
throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit;
the poison of asps is under their lips: 14 Whose
mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: 15 Their
feet are swift to shed blood: 16 Destruction
and misery are in their ways: 17 And
the way of peace have they not known: 18 There
is no fear of God before their eyes. 19 Now
we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under
the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty
before God. 20 Therefore
by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by
the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But
now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by
the law and the prophets; 22 Even
the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and
upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being
justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom
God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to
declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of God; 26 To
declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just,
and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where
is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the
law of faith. 28 Therefore
we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29 Is
he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of
the Gentiles also: 30 Seeing
it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and
uncircumcision through faith. 31 Do
we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the
law.
Romans
3:9-31 (KJV)
My Notes: Notice
verse 19 and
20 May our
mouths be stopped. May we be guilty in the flesh before God. That the deeds of
the Law no flesh is justified. Looking back to Adam. If you eat of the tree of
knowledge you shall surely die. The law is reestablished in our hearts by faith
in Christ Jesus and the exceptance of Gods given FREE sacrifice of Christ.
That Christ came and fullfilled the Commandments of God in the Flesh in our
place. His sacrifice being excepted by God to life ever lasting.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets:
I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one
jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be
fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least
commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the
kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall
be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall
exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no
case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Matt
5:17-20 (KJV)
My Notes: To exceed the rightousness of the scribes and pharisees you must
have faith in Jesus!
Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of
you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and
honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines
the commandments of men.
Matt
15:7-9 (KJV)
My Notes: The Lord points to our hearts in this verse. We have a heart
condition that we war with inside our flesh. Our love in Christ should emulate
in our lives that we love our savior Jesus and our neighbors.
36 Master,
which
is the great commandment in the law?
37
Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the
prophets.
Matt 22:36-40
(KJV)
My Notes: Love is the key ingredient to effectively walk with God in faith.
To connect the heart, mind and soul, a three legged stool for our judgement, a
reprobate mind. To make thy eye single and look upon Jesus and His sacrifice
excepted in God. What more perfect sacrifice may we have but ONE chosen by God?
Is God able to do anything? Yes. The prophets also pointing to Christ and wrath
of No faith. The Law working wrath in God through the conscience of man.
What Jesus told the Sadducees.
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and
the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Matt
22:32 (KJV)
The perfected plan if man falls. The soul was breathed into Adam the minute
after he was created of God. So all mankind may have life ever lasting by the
soul. To find God by Jesus and except His sacrifice for sin offering. To wear
the blood of Christ (New Clothing) and bring us close to God. The three men were
before the Law of Moses.
Paul pointing to the Faith of Abraham.
1 What
shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath
found? 2 For
if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not
before God. 3 For
what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for
righteousness. 4 Now
to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But
to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his
faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even
as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth
righteousness without works, 7 Saying,
Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are
covered. 8 Blessed
is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 9 Cometh
this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the
uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for
righteousness. 10 How
was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in
circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11 And
he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith
which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all
them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be
imputed unto them also: 12 And
the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who
also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had
being yet uncircumcised. 13 For
the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham,
or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For
if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the
promise made of none effect: 15 Because
the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
16 Therefore
it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise
might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that
also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Romans 4:1-16
(KJV)
My Notes: Grace being this as a hidden meaning. Gods Riches At Christs
Expense. Hidden as Adam hid himself from God. The Law works Wrath unto
conscienceness of knowing. Every criminal hides.
Paul Explaining
the importance in leaning on faith. This only would I
learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing
of faith? 3 Are
ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
4 Have
ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. 5 He
therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you,
doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Those
who believe are justified
6 Even
as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know
ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 And
the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith,
preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all
nations be blessed. 9 So
then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. 10 For
as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written,
Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written
in the book of the law to do them. 11 But
that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident:
for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And
the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is
written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That
the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we
might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 15 Brethren,
I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet
if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. 16 Now
to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as
of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And
this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in
Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul,
that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For
if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but
God gave it to Abraham by promise. 19 Wherefore
then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the
seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by
angels in the hand of a mediator. 20 Now
a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21 Is
the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a
law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by
the law. 22 But
the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus
Christ might be given to them that believe. 23 But
before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which
should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore
the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be
justified by faith. 25 But
after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For
ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Gal
3:2-26 (KJV)
Jesus being made a curse for us and to take the bitter cup of wrath in our
place for the attonement of sin. The Law being a School Master to us reflecting
our sin. In our hearts we cannot keep the Law it is by Christ which fullfilled
the Law that we come into Gods presents by accepting Gods sacrifice in
Jesus.
Jesus being the Prophecy fullfilled in sacrifice, chosen by God.
1 For
the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of
the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year
continually make the comers thereunto perfect. 2 For
then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once
purged should have had no more conscience of sins. 3 But
in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins
every year. 4 For
it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away
sins. 5 Wherefore
when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest
not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In
burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then
said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy
will, O God. 8 Above
when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for
sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered
by the law; 9 Then
said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may
establish the second. 10 By
the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus
Christ once for all. 11 And
every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same
sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But
this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the
right hand of God; 13 From
henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For
by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof
the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This
is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the
Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write
them; 17 And
their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now
where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
We
must hold fast to faith
19 Having
therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By
a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that
is to say, his flesh; 21 And
having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure
water.
Heb
10:1-22 (KJV)
My Notes: The prophecy ( Lo, I come to do thy will O God). He taketh away
the first (Adam) that he may establish the second in (Christ Jesus). The
sacrifices and the appointed feasts that Israel were to keep became a burden,
the Love for God was becoming cold. The House of God that Solomon built where
the Glory of the Lord (filled or consumed all space) that House. The Lord left
the House of Solomon after the hearts of Isreal became empty of love for the
sacrifices and fiests. We are not perfect in Love! God knowing the perfect time
to send His sacrifice while the flock was scattered by the Priest during that
time.
Jesus being the last Adam.
35 But
some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they
come? 36 Thou
fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And
that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain,
it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But
God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All
flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh
of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There
are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the
celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is
another. 41 There
is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of
the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So
also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is
raised in incorruption: 43 It
is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is
raised in power: 44 It
is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body,
and there is a spiritual body. 45 And
so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam
was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit
that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and
afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The
first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from
heaven. 48 As
is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as
is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And
as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the
heavenly. 50 Now
this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

My Notes: Knowing the Lord God to give each saved soul a different level in
heaven and gift, Each being individual. We also see the transformation that our
faith in God and how it takes place.
